Your hosts are the Humphries who have built and been running the Ingonish Chalets since 1989.
We are situated on a private spacious wooded lot right on the Cabot Trail, just 4 miles north of the Cape Breton Highlands National Park entrance.
Although we are not on the water, we do have private beach access. Take a 5-minute stroll along a wooded path to access our beautiful sandy beach.
The property also has 2 children’s play areas.

“We chose Ingonish Chalets as one of our stop overs during our adventures around the Cabot Trail. We were greeted warmly by the female proprietor and given a key for Cottage #4. What a wonderful surprise to enter into a cottage that was as rustic and warm as the fall colors surrounding us! Tall vaulted ceilings covered in pine just like the walls and floors. Everything was spotless. We had a fridge, BBQ, microwave, small kitchenette and clean fully stocked washroom. Queen bedroom behind the front living room which had a flat screen tv (many channels). Free wifi. We walked across the street to Ingonish Beach and collected some colorful rocks on the beach. Had dinner at Coastal Waters Restaurant …Would definitely return!” (Visitor from Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada)
For a family of 4 or more a great place to stay to explore Cape Breton. The 2 bedroom chalet is clean and has a well stocked kitchen. There is a beautiful quiet beach with easy access across the street by path and there are many hiking trails in the area. Great for cycling as well. We enjoyed a four day stay and explored other beaches and trails.Visitor Donna S. from Halifax, Nova Scotia
Just came back from spending a night in a 2 bedroom cabin. (Cabin 3). Myself my husband and my son stayed. The lady that owns the chalets is super friendly the cabin was spotless and beautiful with so much room. There is access to a beautiful Sandy beach across the road down a short path. There is everything you need in these cabins including a bbq on the step. We will definitely be staying there again.
