“We chose Ingonish Chalets as one of our stop overs during our adventures around the Cabot Trail. We were greeted warmly by the female proprietor and given a key for Cottage #4. What a wonderful surprise to enter into a cottage that was as rustic and warm as the fall colors surrounding us! Tall vaulted ceilings covered in pine just like the walls and floors. Everything was spotless. We had a fridge, BBQ, microwave, small kitchenette and clean fully stocked washroom. Queen bedroom behind the front living room which had a flat screen tv (many channels). Free wifi. We walked across the street to Ingonish Beach and collected some colorful rocks on the beach. Had dinner at Coastal Waters Restaurant …Would definitely return!”

“For a family of 4 or more a great place to stay to explore Cape Breton.

The 2 bedroom chalet is clean and has a well-stocked kitchen. There is a beautiful quiet beach with easy access across the street by path and there are many hiking trails in the area. Great for cycling as well.

We enjoyed a four-day stay and explored other beaches and trails.”
